Chirico, Giorgio de (Italian, 1888-1978) Hand colored lithograph titled "Le Muse inquietanti" from 1979. Signed to the lower right hand corner and is a limited edition of 99 copies. With Alberto Caprini Blindstamp. Framed and matted in a gilt wood frame. Giorgio de Chirico was an Italian artist. In the years before World War I, he founded the Scuola Metafisica art movement, which profoundly influenced the surrealists. After 1919, he became interested in traditional painting techniques, and worked in a neoclassical or neo-Baroque style, while frequently revisiting the metaphysical themes of his earlier work.
