George Jones Majolica "Pond Lily" dessert set, English, c.1875, eleven plates and one compote, all with British Registry Mark and George Jones maker's mark to underside, details include: eleven dessert plates with matching Registry marks and relief-molded lily flower, three with noticeable flakes, two with chips to rim, 7 3/4" diam.; and one compote, low bowl raised on four lily pad feet, partially illegible Registry Mark, 2 3/4" h., all pieces with wear consistent with age and use including occasional flakes, craquelure of glaze, etc.
