Maynard and Veronica Navasie (Hopi, 20th C.), two pieces of Native American pottery including one jar and one vase, both with rust and brown geometric decoration on white ground, both signed with initials "M.N. & V.N." and frog mark, vase with paper label which reads "Competition quality/ 950", both with light wear consistent with age and use, vase: 8 1/4" h.; jar: 7" h. [PROVENANCE: Purchased both in July of 1989 from Americana Indian Shows and Art Gallery in Yuma, Sedona & Flagstaff, Arizona, for $845. Copy of receipt available to successful buyer.]
