Sought after in all grades as a date, and tough to find with so much hair definition remaining on Liberty as most known examples are in far lower technical grades. There are a couple of shallow planchet voids, probably as made -- both on Liberty's hair. On balance the surfaces are average or nearly so for a mid-grade coin, and given the demand for 1799 cents, this example will no doubt command considerable attention from collectors. I will note that Ive seen less detail on 1799 cents graded fine as well as not seeing any corrosion. I think a f12 grade is warranted.
