Description

Antique Clear Glass Jar with Metal Screw-Top Lid Clasp. This antique, clear glass jar has a unique metal screw-top mechanism to keep it closed, not the typical wire one used on many jars today. The glass has a bluish tinge to it and is marked with the following: "Whitall's Patent June 18th 1861" which can also be found on the glass top.

The dimensions are 7.5 in x 3.5 in x 2.5 in. It is in fair condition, the glass is cracked in places, and the metal clasp has some surface wear and rust. Please call or email for a detailed condition report.
