Painted metal book press for bookbinding. This beautiful old book press is black with red painted details. Book presses also known as screw presses were used in tradition bookbinding to keep the book straight and orderly while glue was drying. Now it makes a great decorative item for any lover of books.

The dimensions are 15.5in x 19in x 12.5in. It is in very good condition for its afe with rust on the underside. It is in working condition. Please call or email for a detailed condition report.
