DRESSED IN ORIGINAL BLUE DRESS AND UNDERGARMENTS, DOLL COMES WITH PROVENANCE. NAMED "SARA JANE", DOLL ORIGINALLY BELONGED TO MAMIE DUFF BESWARICK OF PENNSYLVANIA (BORN 1885). AFTER YEARS OF LOVE AND PLAY SARA JANE WAS PASSED DOWN TO MAMIE'S DAUGHTER FRANCES AND GIVEN A NEW FACE (INCLUDED). ALSO INCLUDED IS A CHRISTMAS CARD MADE BY FRANCES IN 1945. FRANCIS, 92, SOLD THE DOLL IN 2000.

SARA JANE IS QUITE SOILED AND HAS BEEN PATCHED MANY TIMES. HER DRESS IS FADED ON THE FRONT, ALSO WITH REPAIRS. DOLL AND CLOTHING ARE FRAIL.
