Ohio with cove molded top over two glass doors wit six lights each three interior shelves, over tow dovetailed drawers with turned walnut knobs, over two paneled dors with two interior shelves, scroll cut-out apron and sides, solid ends, all in nice old dark patina, poplar secondary wood, 48 x 16 x 78 1/2" high. Signed in period black paint on back John Morfoe(?) or Monroe(?)/Hocken/O.. Inked manuscript not with cupboard reads: Walnut Cupboard-Circa 1850 This cupboard was made in Hocking Co. Ohio-near Logan. Wood was cut and milled from his farm, Signed on back. Bought from Jean Leller. Condition minor damage at crown, right side top cornice missing. one glass cracked, else Fine.
