The hands are crossed in front of the chest holding the temple bell ghanta and thunderbolt vajra, vajramudra. His face is calm, elongated earlobes with large pendants frame the face. A raised urna is in the center on top of the eyebrows, the hair is visible underneath the elaborate tiara enclosing the chignon topped by a vajra prong. Vajradhara literally means "The Vajra-Holder" and is the primordial Buddha.
