The Persian language is the most important Indo-Germanic language in southwest Asia.
When in the Middle Ages Persian for the most important instruction and literature language of the eastern Islamic world developed, it became known to Daru - as the language of the royal yard - also as Faursu e Darbure or simply only. The last Abbasiden Kalif Al-Mutawakkil III. (1508-1516, again in 1517) was spent, after Egypt of the Ottoman Sultan Selim I conquered and the Mamelucken sultanate had been eliminated, from Cairo to Istanbul, where its trace and those lose themselves the entire dynasty in the subsequent years (at the latest around 1543).
