Description
English, 19th century. Carved mahogany kneehole desk in the Georgian taste having a top decorated with an urn that lifts-up to reveal a fall front leather covered writing surface and five-drawers (originally six), the stylized scrolled shellpanel with six swag carved drawers below flanking a door with a floral urn, and rising on block feet. Approx. h. 34.5", w. 34.75", d. 19.75". Provenance: From the Estate of Jack Warner / The Warner Foundation, Tuscaloosa, AL.
Condition
One drawer not present in concealed in writing compartment with wear to leather; cracks to side; wear commensurate with age and use.
