Description
After Frederic Remington (American, 1861-1909). Bronze sculpture titled, "The Rattlesnake." Equestrian statue with western cowboy riding a horse, rearing up in fight against a rattlesnake. Mounted to green marble base. Features brass plaque with title and artist name. Back of sculpture reads "Dedicated to John Hay Secretary of State 1903." Signature at base. Good condition with normal wear and patina. Loss to snakes tail. Measures 28 in. x 16 in. x 10 in. Hill Auction Gallery will not ship. Gallery will refer a local shipper for international buyers.
