The carved wood figures in simple dress with incised details, tiny tack eyes, paddles in the hands, bolted cross-member bases; the belt of the male figure's belt is lettered 'jubla som barnen' (rejoice as the children) in punched letters, the base of the female is lettered MARIA in pencil.
