Description
This is an artist plaque. Inscription reads "Kitzingen 1250 Jahre 1995". Issued to commemorate 1250th year of city of Kitzingen, Germany. Only other artist plaques are Hummel Museum plaques. Hummel measures approx. 5" tall x 6 1/2 wide. Hum 756, TMK-7. No cracks, chips, crazing or repairs. No box. See our other auction lots for more rare large and small M.I. Hummel and Goebel figurines. Provenance: From the estate collection of Donald Deeks (1931-2020) of Venice, Florida, who assembled what is purported to be one of the most important collections of rare Hummel figurines in existence. Blackwell Auctions has been commissioned by his family to sell the entire collection of about 2,000 pieces, many of them either unique or nearly so.
