This sale has several lots of small paintings by Moylan, beginning with Lot #186 and ending with Lot #201. Each painting is 12 inches x 12 inches and are unframed. They are variously signed, inscribed and/or unsigned. We have attributed all to Moylan based on similarities in size, style and the number of them that are inscribed with his signature. They are all in fairly good condition but have dirt, stains, debris and some scuffs. Please carefully review the photos to make a determination of condition of each lot. We have not examined them in detail.We have grouped them into sets of 3 except for Lot #201 which has 4 paintings in the lot. These paintings range from humorous renderings to spiritual to political to sarcastic and some are meant to evoke emotional responses from the viewer. Some could be deemed politically incorrect and even somewhat offensive. According to a family friend who knew him, it is believed that these small paintings were all created in conjunction with an exhibit at a local art organization. We will not break up the sets.
