Platinum demantoid garnet, diamond pearl necklace,c.1910, 4.1dwts.
There is a .50ct VS1 G-H color round Old European transitional cut diamond in the center, 22 round .05ct VS1 to SI1 old European cut transitional diamonds, and three .10ct Old European cut VS1 G-H color diamonds, for a total diamond weight of 2 carats. The thirteen green stones around the .50ct diamond are probably demantoid garnets. We believe they are demantoid, but they have not been sent to a laboratory and so are not guaranteed to be demantoid. The pearl appears to be natural but has not been x-rayed for natural versus cultured.
