ROCKWELL, JABEZ. Document Signed, "Jabez Rockwell", March 15, 1783, 1 p., Preston, 8" x 2.75", along with a Partially Printed Document Signed, June 3, 1784, 1 p., Hartford, 8.5" x 6.5".Â
Jabez Rockwell "To the Committee of Pay Table", dated Preston, Connecticut, authorizing the letter's bearer, Justice of the Peace Samuel Mott, to collect "the whole of the Wages due to me for my Service in the Continental Army while I Serv'd in the 7th Connecticut Regimt. Commanded by Colo. Bradley....", along with a receipt signed by Samuel Mott for receipt of three pounds and nine shillings due to Jabez Rockewell "on the first Day of January 1781...."Â
