Two Native American Zia and Jemez Pueblo Pottery Vessels by Elizabeth Medina and Bertha Gachupin. Painted earthenware; the Medina vessel with low bulging globular body, decorated with a bird motif in red and brown tones on a light brown ground; the Bertha piece with round double spout form, decorate with geometric motif in red tones and black on a light brown ground. Medina vessel marked 'Elizabeth Medina / ZIA' in black to the bottom of the body; Bertha vessel marked 'Bertha Gachupin / Jemez' in black to the underside. {Approximate dimensions: Medina 6 1/4 high x 9 inches diameter, Bertha 8 3/4 high x 6 1/4 wide x 5 1/4 inches deep.}. Condition: Very minor wear overall, a couple nicks to the surface.
