YELLOW GLAZED PORCELAIN BOWL, YONGZHENG MARK.Chinese Qing Dynasty porcelain bowls, having inverted bell shaped body, wider to the opening, with recessed footed base. The exterior adorned with blue underglaze hand painting of the bamboo motif. The bamboo represents moral veracity, and is often applied to the academic, who may bend with the wind of adversity but who will never permit his philosophies to be shattered. Banded with double fine blue ring beneath the rim and foot. All against a lemon yellow under glazed ground. Dimension: 2-1/4" H x 5-7/8" Dia.
