Exceptional vintage Art Deco Chinese Export necklace features a finely carved carnelian gemstone lavalier pendant with carnelian accents. Pendant is oval drop shaped, and pierced with lovely flowers, foliage in profile. It is connected by a 14K gold flower and topped by a carnelian beads. Two carnelian beads move the eye along a fine gold oblong and triple ring chain. There is a thin clasp ring on one side which is marked 14K and KB, the other side is missing locking clasp ring. Carved gemstones are deep carnelian orange/brown and have an amazing translucent quality. The carved flower above the pendant has same coloring, reflective of apple cider. Well-preserved, extremely fine conditionFinely detailed vintage Art Deco era necklace (circa 1920s to 1930s) crafted in 14 karat yellow gold.Carved carnelian measures 1.5in h x .75in w., and the upper carnelian piece is .50in H x .75 in w. Two beads each measure 5.5mm. The carnelian is in excellent condition and free of cracks or chips.The carnelian is carved in a botanical motif with a lower oval drop and a botanical motif carving facing plaque above. Both statement pieces are carved and pierced allowing beautiful lighting flowing through. The necklace measures 16 inches and sits at a choker length.
