Title: 1880's Indigo Blue & White Sunflower Quilt

Provenance/Additional Info: Cotton 1880's indigo blue and white sunflower quilt, all hand pieced and quilted. Unusual design also known as "suspension bridge," "broken circle" and "sunburst." It measures 82" X 90" and is in very good condition, with the occasional light age spot, subtle mellowing of the blue, and no wear except for the occasional nick at the edge of the binding. The quilting is excellent, with straight line and grid designs quilted throughout at 8 stitches to the inch. The back is white, the hand stitched binding is solid blue, and the batting is thin.
