Description
Attractive pair of armchairs designed by architect Mario Oreglia in late 1949. The armchairs present an iconic geometric play where a seductive, vibrant line is exalted, where balance of form and rigorous lines meet to create a sculptural seat. The armchairs have been restored in bold red Italian velvet. The perfectly conical feet in walnut wood adapt to its vibrant physicality. The backrest is surrounded by two triangular shaped enveloping ears. Its seat is instead housed by two soft cushions that increase the comfort zone. Condition
Reupholstered. Wear consistent with age and use. the armchairs are in excellent condition and have been restored and re-lined. Slight scratches on the wood are possible on the feet.
