Description
Vase in C.A.S. Vietri glazed ceramic, with a motif that recalls the shape of a human eye, the vase is made with a technique: thrown by hand with blue and white salt glaze. Signed on underside. The ceramic factory "C.A.S." (Ceramiche Artistiche Solimene) of Vietri Marina, in the province of Salerno, was founded in 1937 by Vincenzo Solimene, who took over the premises of the disused factory "Amabile". In the eighties/nineties, some ceramics made to a design by the architect Ugo La Pietra came out of the kilns. DimensionsH.13.78 in;Diam.9.84 in;H.35 cm;Diam.25 cm;
