Also known as "woolies," each with woven scenes depicting Victorian-era sea vessels flying British flags, comprising one depicting one ship at sea on a white ground with red and blue coloring and three illegible embroidered initials in lower left-center (12" H x 16" W) and one depicting three ships at sea on a gold ground (18" H x 24" W), 2 pieces
Notes: Woolworks were often created by sailors while at sea by weaving woolen thread into duck linen.

Condition
Overall good condition with fading of textile pigment and minor scratches to frame commensurate with age. 2.5" chip to wooden frame on larger woolwork. Each feature loosening and fraying of fibers. Unsigned. Framed: 15.75" H x 19.875" W / 25.75" H x 32" W.
