An original mock up of the 1942 Christmas bond card. Is not entirely hand painted, has some printing and hand coloring and detail, but is one of the original mock ups used for the card. The card would have contained an album for collecting war savings bond stamps. Would have been turned into the plate for the cards. Shows Uncle Sam's shoe kicking Hitler and US War Stamps on the bottom of his shoe. Is stamped on the back Nov 29, 1942. Is in excellent condition. Measures approx. 8 1/2" tall x 6 1/2" wide. We also offer contactless pickups at our South Brunswick location BY APPOINTMENT ONLY on the Friday, Monday or Tuesday immediately following the sale. You must contact us no later than 24 hours after the sale to book your pickup. If you cancel your scheduled pickup time, we will automatically ship your items to you. You must pay for the item before we will schedule a pickup. All items must be out of our South Brunswick location no later than Tuesday 12/22 . Please bring your own packing materials as our boxes stay with us. Any items that the shipping is not paid for, or have not been picked up will be charged a $10 per day storage fee after Tuesday.
