Description
Late 19th-20th century. Decorated gourd with grass and pine needle wrapped rim. Made by Jean Stark, Sister, Oregon. 7"h. 7.75"d. and a Southwest, possibly Apache, basketry water jug with pitch covering and horsehair lughandles (one damaged). 7.5"h. 7.5"d. Together with an autograph book owned by Lucy Davis, Pawnee Agency, Indian Territory, Oklahoma. "Presented from Colena to Lucy, December 23rd, 1889". Filled with Victorian paperscraps and various notes from friends, last dated 1893. Worn. 9"l.
