The Historians' History of the World, edited by Henry Smith Williams, London: The Times, dated 1907, partial set of five volumes, comprising Vol. VIII - Arabs Crusades Papacy; Vol. IX - Italy; Vol. XII - France 1715 - 1815; Vol. XVI - Scandinavia Switzerland; Vol. XXII - British Colonies The United States; leather bound, the spines with gilt decoration and lettering. Each approx: 10.5" H x 7.5" W. Shelf wear throughout including scuffs to leather, toning of paper. Provenance: From the estate of American film producer Martin Bregman (Scarface, Serpico, Dog Day Afternoon). Removed from his Park Avenue apartment decorated by Sister Parish and Albert Hadley.
