Frame H 22.25" W 20.5 Provenance: Provenance: Doyles, NY, 12/1/2015; Estate of Senator Jack Faxon, Birmingham, MI. Senator Faxon is best known as the creator of the Michigan Council for the Arts, his involvement with the Detroit Institute of Arts, and the Harlem School of Arts board.
Condition
Original frame. No evidence of damage, restoration, or overpaint when viewed under natural or UV light. Interestingly, there is a bristle from the artist's brush cured in the green paint in the upper left.
