Antique metal and glass commercial tabulating scale. Serial number 493144.
Plaque on bottom rear reads 'Wired for 110v 2amp'. The Computing Scale Company existed from 1891 to 1914. In 1891, Edward Canby and Orange O. Ozias, two businessmen from Dayton, Ohio, purchased the patents for the newly invented computing scale and incorporated the Computing Scale Company for the production of commercial scales.
