This cotton/blend "Mexican sunset" quilt is hand pieced and hand quilted, with a tag on the back that identifies the maker (from California), pattern name, and date of creation: 1978. It measures 68" X 74" and is in excellent, never washed condition, with no spots or wear. There is quilting around the piecework and in straight line designs in the background, all at 6 stitches to the inch. The back is the same light blue used in the interior, the hand stitched, wide binding is the same royal blue used on the front, and the batting is thin.
