(2) ancient Egyptian bright blue faience Ushabti, Possibly 3rd Intermediate Period (1293 BCE - 945 BCE), turquoise blue glazed pottery representing a servant for the afterlife, in mummiform with hands folded over chest, black painted (likely manganese) incl. a hoe in each hand, hieroglyphic text, and a seed sack painted on back, one mounted on display plinth, larger: 5"h x 1.75"w x 1.25"d (Ushabti only), 6"h x 2"squ (incl. plinth), smaller: 4.75"h x 1.75"w x 1.25"d

Good/Fair, mounted example appears permanently adhered to plinth, and with crack near ankle, the other with heavy oxidation/discoloration mostly to chest and surrounding face, and with glue residue from previous mounting to underside, each with expected finish losses, wear, imperfections, and old surface dirt **Condition reports are rendered as specialist opinion by the staff of the Auction House and not as statements of fact.
