Description
Two late 20th century American chine-colle on paper works by Mary Coman. Chine-colle is a printmaking technique in which the image is transferred onto a surface that is bonded to a heavier support in the printing process. Works include "Anxiety", image of two men's heads, edition 2/12; and "Isolate", image of a single tree, edition 3/15. Both pieces signed lower right. Each 3 1/2" x 2 1/2", framed 18 1/2" x 14 1/2". Provenance: Estate of the late William Hudlow of San Diego, California.
