Description
**First Time At Auction**

Latin America, Mexico, ca. early 19th century CE. A hand-carved wooden wall sconce with an inverted, balustrade-style body with a hemispherical lower tip, a semicircular platform on top, and a singular iron nail for suspension. The sconce is painted in blue and orange pigment with accents of gold-colored paint on some raised areas. Size: 6" W x 6.125" H (15.2 cm x 15.6 cm).
