Prehistoric North America, Archaic Period, ca. 8000 to 2000 BCE. A trio of stone (lithic) knapped projectile points, two expanding stemmed, one made of red mudstone and the other a very interesting creamy sedimentary rock with small, dark, flecked inclusions; the third, largest point is a classic example of a corner notched point, made from root beer brown chert. Size: 1.5" W x 2.2" H (3.8 cm x 5.6 cm)
