A carved wood press, likely for fruit, flowers, or herbs with a long spoon form lever, the platform with a circular disk surrounded by recessed niche with drip spout at one end, a top crest with carved stylized cloud scrolls, and black characters to the side of one support below the cloud form. A wonderful piece of utilitarian visual culture that presents an attractive form. Size: 18.5" L x 5.5" W x 10.25" H (47 cm x 14 cm x 26 cm)
