Description
Meissen porcelain figure, after a model by C.C. Punct, of two putti, one standing holding a telescope to his eye, a book at his feet, the other using a pair of dividers on a celestial globe, the grassy mound base edged with gilt scrolls. Crossed swords mark and incised marks 2460 and impressed 93. Meissen mark has one slash indicating it was originally sold undecorated. Restoration noted where the telescope meets the eye, hand holding the telescope and one wing. 6.5h" x 5.5w" x 5d"
