Louis-Philippe Mahogany and Marble-Top Commode

mid-19th century, the marble top with rounded corners, above a conforming case with a molded drawer over a bank of three drawers, all with finely cast escutcheons and pulls, raised on disc feet.

In very good condition. The marble top is fine. Both sides of the case have filled shrinkage cracks from age. The interior of the drawers are clean. Has beautiful cast hardware and nicely matched veneers to the drawer fronts. Exhibits a warm and pleasing patina.
