first quarter 20th century, each with concave sides and a slightly domed cover, the interiors lined with velvet, raised on turned feet.

The larger example with slight lifting/separation at the front top edge. The second example with a small loss and visible cracked repair to the left front corner of the lid. There are two small cracks to the back of the lid and case near left hinge. Bottom of case with scattered losses to red leather cover.
