The piece is based off one of Steiff's original Pantom animals designed by Albert Schlopsnies, which first appeared in 1911. Bertie is made of brown mohair and based on the original Schlopsnies design and is fully functional as a marionette with his loose jointing and sturdy body. The piece comes in the original box with paperwork including the certificate of authenticity. The bear also retains the original Steiff ear pin with catalog number 667947 and edition number 00485. This impressive piece is from an extremely limited edition of only 1911 pieces worldwide. Measurements: 12".
