A finely crafted vessel created from the top of a Buddhist Monks Skull and lined with silver and embellished with small skull designs. Tibetan Buddhist peoples use the kapala was in Vajrayana rituals as an offering bowl and is associated with complex tantric rituals. This Buddhist bowl measures 7 x 5.5 inches and was part of the permanent display at the Metamora Museum of Oddities, Metamora , Indiana.
