[ALIM KHAN MOHAMMED]: (1880-1944) Emir of Bukhara 1911-20, the last Emir of the Uzbek Manghit dynasty. A vintage unsigned postcard photograph of the Emir seated in a full length pose wearing traditional ceremonial attire, including a sash and medals, and holding a sword within a scabbard in one hand. With a small official oval purple ink stamp to the verso. The verso also features an A.L.S., Marusya, by an unidentified member of the Imperial Russian Court of Tsar Nicholas II in the Crimea, n.p., n.d., in Cyrillic, to their Aunt Sonya, sending New Years greetings and continuing 'Is not the Emir very nice here?
