Description

(1897Â–1935) Vintage 1930's index card signed in fountain pen ink by Sir Charles Kingsford Smith. In excellent condition. Referred to by his nickname Smithy he was a famous early Australian aviator. In 1928, he earned global fame when he made the first trans-Pacific flight from the United States to Australia. He was probably most notable as being the last pilot shot down by the Red Baron. Comes with a full Letter of Authenticity from Todd Mueller Authentics.
