A letter to the Bahraini public from King Saud – April 15th 1954. A rare goodbye letter sent by King Saud addressing the people of Bahrain before he left the country. The title of the letter reads “From King Saud bin Abdulaziz to his Bahraini brethren”. The letter embodied the love and affection King Saud had for Bahrain, its ruler and its people. Part of this letter reads “I extend my sincere appreciation of all the honest and touching emotions I received as I leave this country. I hope that God will grant the Arab world, and in particular our two countries, happiness and prosperity”. رسالة من الملك سعود لشعب البحرين ١٥ إبريل ١٩٥٤مخطاب نادر للملك سعود أرسله لشعب البحرين حينما كان الملكعلى وشك مغادرة البحرين تفضل بتوجيه رسالة وداع إلى البحرين كان عنوانها «من الملك سعود بن عبد العزيز إلى إخوانه في البحرين». وقد جسدت تلك الرسالة ما كان الملك سعود يكنه لشعب البحرين وشيوخها ورجالاتها من مودة وحب. ومما ورد فيها «إنني أقدر لإخواني في البحرين وأنا أغادر هذه البلاد العزيزة كل هذه العواطف الصادقة التي لمستها وسمعتها، آملا أن يوفق الله الجميع لما فيه الخير والسعادةوالسؤدد للبلاد العربية عامة ولهذين القطرين خاصة
