Description
Yoshimura, Fumio (American, 1926-2002), Dog Snapper Fish Skeleton, 1981 carved and glued Linden wood relief sculpture, 20 x 41.5 x 11 inches, mounted on a painted black frame base measuring 47.5 x 23.5 x 2 inches, in a Plexiglas shadow box. Provenance: Nancy Hoffman Gallery, New York; The Estate of Roslyn Litman, Yoshimura's work is in the collections of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, the Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach, Fla., and the Hood Museum of Art at Dartmouth College, where he taught as an adjunct professor for 11 years.
Condition
