Description
English, Leeds or Yorkshire, circa 1810.
With applied face masks of Roman inspiration. Bundles of reeds across rim of pot and of stand, tied at intervals with fasces; sprig-applied FACES mid-body with pendant garlands hanging from each. Probably Leeds or Yorkshire, circa 1810.

Condition
No apparent restorations. Half inch square chip on inner surface of edge, extends up to 1/4 inch of the lip. Five small glaze flakes on the inner rim. On foot rim there is a 2 inch portion that is missing. Minor abrasion to glaze and other areas. A quarter inch very old chip to rim of the stand and very minor glaze flakes to it. The stand has natural abrasion from usage, on inside of stand from the movement of pot.
