We have beautiful signed Album Page by Carl Hubbell (1903 - 1988) Pitcher New Yourk Giants. Hubbell is best known for his standout single-game performances, the most memorable one being during the three innings he spent on the mound in the 1934 All-Star Game. First, the All-Star Game. On July 10, 1934, in the Polo Grounds, Hubbell wrote himself some baseball history by striking out the final three men of the first inning and the first two of the second. Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Jimmie Foxx, Al Simmons and Joe Cronin all fell victim to Hubbells pinpoint control and awesome screwball a reverse curve that broke in toward lefties and away from right-handed batters. All Autographs in this auction come the the Estate of Charles D. a Watertown New York native - Born 1929 and as a child collected autographs from major sports figures and teams traveling to the NY area. Collecting most of his autographs in the late 1930's to the 1940's when Charles with betweeen the age of 10 & 15.
Condition
