EUROPEAN CARVED WALNUT DOORS, TWO 18TH.C. H 35' W 17' Pair of matched 18th.c. doors each carved with upper and lower panels: upper panels depicting floral spray emanating from double handled urns. Lower panels depicting "en face" figures on horseback carrying banner. Iron hinges and key escutcheon. According to the family, these were removed from a massive 18th c. walnut cabinet. From the home of William Hudson, brother of J.L. Hudson, 700 West Ferry St. Buffalo, New York (currently part of the Nardin Academy).
Condition
Both show expected age signs. One lower panel with crack. jw
