late 19th century, converted from a knife box
Enclosing four clear glass decanters with silverplate bottle tickets. (5)
the box height 15in (38cm); width 9in (23cm); depth 11 1/2in (29.25cm)

Condition
Converted from a knife box, as stated. With later glass decanters. Two bottle tickets match in form. Other two do not. Surface of box quite dark. Lid with a slight wave caused by shrinkage. General marks, scratches, rubbing and wear commensurate with age and use. No key.
