PROVENANCE: These items were purchased from Elizabeth Gallucci, fifth generation of the Rupp family to own and live in the Rupp house at Walnut Street and Simpson Ferry Road in Mechanicsburg, PA. The Rupp family are well known in area history, their roots extending deep into the 18th century. These items, acquired inside the Rupp House, had been in that house since their first use by the Rupp family and, until the time of acquisition, had not been seen nor used outside of the house.
