Pair of Henri II Style Carved Oak Fauteuils, late 19th c., the high square upholstered back over upholstered arms with dragon terminals, to a trapezoidal cushioned seat, on turned block legs, joined by rope twist stretchers, in green velvet upholstery, with iron tack decoration, H.- 39 1/2 in., W.- 26 in., D.- 20 in.
Condition
Condition consistent with age and use. Normal wear and tear with scuffs and scratches. Chairs are tight and sturdy. Top of arms 26 in. from ground. Would benefit from cleaning. Handsome examples.
